Macaw

Super stressful week (week before finals? Stressful? No.), so I took an hour off and mixed-media'd this guy. Coloured pencil over a marker 'underpainting' of sorts. He looks kind of like a blue-and-gold macaw in my mind. I also went and tried backlighting. There was going to be a lovely sunset-and-clouds background, but I used up my hour. I had forgotten how therapeutic real media was!

Now back to analysing the intermolecular forces of soap. SCIENCE: not always as exciting as you think.
